Rules:
- When you become an FTMO Trader, we already know that we can trust your trading skills and abilities to manage risk properly and therefore, we will provide you with top-rated trading conditions in the industry. To ensure you will not be stressed by chasing any targets, we have completely removed the Profit Target requirement to give you the freedom to trade with peace of mind. The only Trading Objectives we require you to respect are the drawdown rules (Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Loss), which are the most important rules we care about as these are the fundamentals of trading and we may use data on your simulated trades to perform our own trades in real financial markets.
- In an FTMO Challenge and Verification, you can trade freely during all news releases.
After you pass the Evaluation Process (consisting of FTMO Challenge + Verification), and unless your account type is Swing, you should be careful when trading during news releases. - In an FTMO Challenge or Verification, you don’t have to. During these stages, you can keep your positions open overnight and over the weekend as well.
- Your trading style is up to you. As long as your trading is legitimate (in line with proper risk management), conforms to the real market conditions, and does not resemble forbidden practices, we have no reasons for limiting or restricting your trading strategy, whether it’s discretionary trading, algorithmic trading, EAs, etc. When trading, keep in mind that your trading style should be replicable on live accounts to generate the same results as on your FTMO Account. We do not require you to use a Stop-loss (although it’s generally advisable to always have certain safety measures in place) and the maximum volume per order on Forex is 50 lots. You can trade all the instruments and assets that are available in your trading platform (Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks, Crypto,…). You can also view the available symbols on this link. If your system is profitable while respecting the rules, we’re happy to see you profit with us.
- Please beware of practices that have nothing much in common with serious trading. If we identify intentional activities or Modus Operandi being repeated on more accounts, we reserve our right to take the necessary action to mitigate risk. This might vary from removing the conflicting positions, rebalancing the account, reducing leverage, or terminating the account completely and ceasing our cooperation altogether. Please trade with genuine intentions and show us your edge in the markets and consistency that you can be proud of.
- Trading must be legitimate and traders must not use practices that contradict the functioning of a real market. A trading strategy is allowed, provided it doesn’t interfere with legitimate trading or exploit practices that are intended to cause us any harm or misuse the Evaluation Process and/or FTMO Account in any way and breach the forbidden trading practices.
- If you intend to use trading robots (Expert Advisors – EAs), keep in mind that if you use an EA from a third party, there might be other traders already using the same EA and therefore exactly the same strategy. By using a third-party EA, you potentially run a risk of being denied the FTMO Account if you exceed the maximum capital allocation rule.
- Please note that platform servers have 200 orders at a time and 2000 max positions per day limitation, just as the limited acceptance of the server messages (orders and order modifications such as updates of TP/ SL and updates of limit orders). If your EA causes hyperactivity to a platform server, we might alert you and ask you to adjust the EA logic or parameters of your strategy.

Futures trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the investor’s initial investment. Only risk capital—money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle—should be used for trading and only those individuals with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Nothing contained herein is a solicitation or an offer to buy or sell futures, options, or forex. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
CFTC Rule 4.41 – Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs, in general, are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Rules:
Do you permit Copy Trading?
We do not permit copy trading of any kind across accounts. This also includes having the same positions on the same market in the same direction open at the same time across more than one account. So for example if you were to open a trade on Gold at 10.30am and closed at 11.30am, you would not be able to open a position on gold on another account during that time.
Please keep this is mind when trading multiple accounts. So if the accounts are flagged for copy trading, profit may be nullified based on our T&C’s.
Prohibited Countries
Due to the international sanctions regimes currently in place we are unable to do business with traders from the following countries:(1) Cuba;
(2) North Korea;
(3) Syria;
(4) Islamic Republic of Iran; and
(5) Myanmar.
If you are a trader operating in one of the prohibited countries listed then please do not place any orders with us, as we cannot guarantee that any purchases will be able to be refunded, nor can we guarantee that any funds generated as a result of your successful trading could be passed on to you.
We understand that this may be disappointing, and we keep this situation under regular review. Can I use NinjaTrader or Tradestation as my trading platform?
No, Neither NinjaTrader nor Tradestation are connected to our platform.
If you want to make your trading decisions on NinjaTrader or Tradestation you can continue to do so and you can execute the trades on our existing platforms. Many professional traders prefer to execute trades on a different platform from their analysis.
Our traders also do not need to pay the high exchange connection fees associated with trading on NinjaTrader and Tradestation.Amount Under Management / How many accounts can I have?
You can have any number of evaluation accounts you wish to trade. We will only fund two simulated live accounts (“FT+ trader accounts”) at a time. We will only merge simulated live accounts if the accounts are both untraded, and the maximum merged account can be $200,000 since that is our highest value program currently. You cannot trade the same markets at the same time on more than one account.
- Is copytrading allowed?
Copy trading one of your own accounts across to one of our FT+ accounts is allowed. You cannot copy trade across multiple FT+ accounts. Please bear in mind that we only will provide one live account per strategy. We define use of the same strategy as an account that takes the same trades on the same market at very similar times.

Rules:
What are the Stop Loss Rules?
Our data shows that traders who don’t use stop losses tend not to survive long in trading. We require you to place a stop loss on every trade to ensure proper risk management and to help protect your account.
What happens if I don't use a stop loss?
Not using a stop loss is considered a soft breach. This means:It won’t lead to the termination of your funded account.
However, our risk management system will automatically close trades without a stop loss within 1 minute after placing the trade.
The stop-loss order must be visible on the trading platform, so using a 'stealth mode' stop-loss is not permitted. What are the consequences of having trades closed without a stop loss?
Any trades closed without a stop loss and in profit will not be counted towards your profit target objectives. This rule applies to all our programs.
You will receive an automated email notifying you of your position which has been closed due to not placing a stop loss within 1 minute.
The stop-loss order must be utilized for executing legitimate trading strategies and should not be set at a significant distance from the entry price to create the appearance of having no stop loss. Circumventing the stop-loss security mechanism is strictly prohibited, as it is akin to not placing a stop loss at all and is considered a form of gambling and improper risk management.
What are the scaling plans?
Two Scenarios for Scaling
Depending on the Consistency Score Target you achieve when you reach each 10% milestone on the funded levels, we will scale up either yourProfit Share %; or
Your Funded Account Balance
Note: The Consistency Score Target is NOT a requirment does NOT apply when requesting a payout. You can request your payout anytime you achieve your withdrawal requirements regardless of your Consistency Score.Scaling Up Your Profit Share to 100%
If the Consistency Score Target at the time of reaching the 10% milestone is lower than 80%, then CTI will increase your profit share by 10% for each 10% milestone reached until your profit share reaches 100%.For example
Starting with an 80% Profit Share
If you reach the first 10% milestone and the Consistency Score is less than 80%, CTI will reward you by increasing your profit share to 90%.
Then, CTI will provide you with a new account to continue trading at the same level with the added benefit of a 90% profit share as a reward for reaching the first 10% milestone.
If you reach another 10% milestone on the funded level and the Consistency Score is still less than 80%, CTI will reward you again by increasing your profit share to 100%.
Scaling Up Your Funded Account
You can Scale up your Funded Account in two ways:1. Make a 10% milestone once you have a 100% profit share:
Once you've attained a 100% profit share, even if your consistency score falls below 80%, you will qualify for scaling up since you have consistently demonstrated profitability over time. You will be eligible for scaling up your account balance regardless of your Consistency Score, even if it's less than the 80% threshold.
2. Any time your Consistency Score is 80% or higher.
A Consistency Score of 80% or Higher is considered very good. It suggests a high likelihood of sustained success with your trading strategy over time and you will access more benefits with CTI.If the Consistency Score is 80% or Higher any time you reach the 10% milestone on the funded levels, then CTI will increase your funded account balance in line with the scaling plans of each funding program type.
1-Step Evaluation (Instant Funding) & No Evaluation (Direct Funding) Scaling Plans
We'll double your account balance by an incredible 200% of your most recent initial account balance.
Each account has the potential to scale up to 2million.
2-Step Challenge Scaling Plans
We'll increase your account balance by 50% of your original account balance.
Under this program, you can scale up to 200K on each account.Important Notes
Once you meet the scaling requirement, we'll initiate a review of your account, which typically takes from the same day to up to 2 business days. This review allows us to check that your account has traded per our terms and conditions.
We'll upgrade your account upon approval and send you a confirmation email with your new account credentials.
What types of EAs/trading methods are not permitted?
Certain trading practices that exploit our system and programs are strictly prohibited and violate our Terms and Conditions.
This applies to both our evaluation phases and funded accounts as soon as they are identified.
If your account has been found abusing the system and violating the trading rules, the contract will be terminated immediately without notice, and you will be banned permanently from CTI, with no refund policy.
Below are the prohibited trading methods that lead to the breach of our terms and conditions.
Third-party EAs that use the same EA.
You can trade with any genuine EA you developed and use personally.
At CTI, we're keenly aware of the significant role that Expert Advisors (EAs) can play in automating and optimizing your trading strategies. We're committed to enhancing your trading experience, which is why we fully support using EAs across all our accounts in every phase of your trading journey.
However, we want to draw attention to the risks of using third-party Expert Advisors (EAs) available on the open market, which breaches our rules against copy trading.
Note: using Trade Managers & Calculators are allowed.
EAs that the trader does not own the source code.
Using Expert Advisors (EAs) for which the trader does not own the source code is strictly prohibited.
This rule is in place to ensure transparency and accountability in trading activities.
Without ownership of the source code, it is difficult to verify the integrity and reliability of the EA, which can lead to potential abuses and exploitation of our systems and programs.
Traders who have EAs, must submit a copy of the source code to CTI to verify the authenticity of the EA used.
Copy Trading EAs or Social Trading Tools from other traders or signal providers.
This involves automatically or manually copying trades or trading strategies of another trader.
It's prohibited because it often involves using someone else's trading signals without proper authorization or understanding rather than genuinely depending on the actual performance of the trader who signed up with CTI.
However, The Client can copy trades from their personal account to our funded account.
Copy Trading as Group Trading or Coordination with other traders.
Group trading or coordinating with other traders, whether using an EA or manually, is prohibited as it compromises the integrity and fairness of our funding programs. These practices can lead to the distortion of individual performance assessments. Our programs are designed to evaluate and reward the skills of individual traders.
To maintain a level playing field and ensure that each trader's performance is accurately assessed, we require that all trading activities be conducted independently.
However, there is no issues with sharing analysis from other traders for the genuine experience of learning and improving the trader's own trading performance.
Funded Account Pass Services or any third parties.
Funded account management services are prohibited because they undermine the principle of individual accountability and skill that our programs are built upon.
Allowing third parties to manage funded accounts dilutes the direct relationship between the trader and CTI, making it difficult to accurately assess the trader's abilities and performance.
Additionally, it increases the risk of fraudulent activities and improper trading practices, which can compromise the integrity of our funding programs and create unfair advantages.
Therefore, we require that all trading activities be conducted solely by the account holder.
Account Sharing or Reselling accounts with other individuals or entities
Account sharing or reselling accounts with other individuals or entities is strictly prohibited. This occurs when a trader sells access to their funded trading account to another person or entity, allowing them to trade on their behalf or use the account for their own purposes in exchange for a fee or profit share.
Such practices undermine the integrity of our evaluation process and the trust-based relationship between the trader and the firm.
It obscures the true performance of the original account holder and can introduce unauthorized and potentially risky trading behaviors.
To maintain a fair and transparent trading environment, we require that each funded account be used exclusively by the trader who was evaluated and approved.
News Bracketing Strategy
The bracketing strategy, which involves placing buy and sell pending orders around high-impact news events above and below the market price, is prohibited.
This strategy entails opening both buy and sell stop orders close to the current price before a major economic announcement.
When the news is released, the resulting volatility triggers one of the orders, allowing the trader to profit from the price swing.
Martingale Style Trading
This involves opening more positions (regardless of position size) as the price moves in the opposite of the trade direction in an attempt to recover previous losses and make a profit once the price returns to the original open price.
This trading method is prohibited as it only works in a ranging market. Once the price starts moving in one direction, this strategy always, without exception, fails in the end with a margin call and wiping out the complete trading account.
Grid Style Trading
Grid Trading is a trading strategy where multiple buy and sell orders are placed at predefined price levels on a trading chart, typically both above and below the current market price, forming a grid-like pattern.
These orders create a structured grid of trades that aims to capitalize on price fluctuations within a certain range. As the market moves, these orders are executed when the price reaches the predetermined levels. When the market moves in one direction, the profitable trades in that direction can offset potential losses from the opposite direction.
While Grid Trading seeks to minimize risk, sudden and strong market trends can lead to significant losses. Additionally, a prolonged trend in one direction could result in a large accumulation of losing trades on one side of the grid.
Gamble to pass
To prevent gambling behaviour, ensure responsible trading practices, and accurately assess the trader’s performance on our funding programs, it is prohibited to attempt to pass challenges or evaluations using gambling behaviour in one of a few trades.
"Gamble to pass" refers to a trading approach where traders:
(1) take excessively unusual high-risk trades that are not in line with the trader's past trading history in an attempt to pass in one single trade (or multiple positions opened on the same symbol at the same time); and/or
(2) max out on leverage in one single trade (or multiple positions opened on the same symbol at the same time) to quickly hit profit targets, often disregarding proper risk management and trading strategies;
This approach is essentially gambling, as it relies on luck rather than skill and consistent performance.
Traders must demonstrate consistent trading activity over the assessment period to pass to the next level.
Responsible trading requires a balanced approach, considering both potential rewards and risks.
Churning of Accounts
Churning of accounts involves clients buying multiple accounts and trading them with excessive risk, aiming to quickly hit profit targets without considering risk management or demonstrating consistent trading performance.
In this scenario, traders purchase multiple accounts at the maximum amount available and manage to pass them.
This situation leads traders to take unnecessarily risky trades on the first account they receive, believing that if they recklessly breach that account, they can immediately start trading on the next one.
According to our data, a healthy trader should be able to trade responsibly and pass within two weeks under normal conditions.
One-Side Bets
One-sided bets refer to a trading strategy where the trader takes positions in one direction without considering market conditions or conducting proper analysis.
For example, a trader might enter long positions on a particular currency pair, believing it will rise indefinitely, regardless of market conditions or contrary indicators.
This approach disregards essential risk management principles and can lead to significant losses.
Similarly, leaving a position open until it hits the profit target without any trade management is prohibited.
This strategy involves neglecting active trade oversight, unlike swing trading, where the position is managed throughout its duration.
This lack of management can result in unchecked risks and substantial losses if the market moves unfavourably.
Proper trade management is crucial to maintaining a balanced and responsible trading strategy.
Group hedging
Group hedging involves multiple traders coordinating their positions to collectively hedge risk across their accounts.
For instance, one trader might take a long position while another takes a short position on the same asset on two or more accounts, effectively neutralizing the risk for the group but exploiting the system's rules.
This practice distorts the true assessment of individual trading skills and creates an unfair advantage, undermining the integrity of the trading environment.
Group hedging is strictly prohibited to maintain a fair and transparent market, ensuring that each trader's performance is evaluated based on their individual merits.
Multi-Account Reverse Trading
Automatically or manually mirroring or replicating trades from a primary account to several other accounts but in the opposite direction. Essentially, if the primary account takes a long position, the connected accounts will take a short position, and vice versa. These types of EAs are prohibited because they involve a form of strategy manipulation that can be used to exploit certain trading conditions and can also lead to unfair trading practices.
Multi-Account Reverse Trading involves a trader using multiple accounts to take opposite positions on the same asset, effectively hedging their risk and manipulating outcomes.
For example, one account might be used to place a long position while another account simultaneously places a short position on the same asset.
This strategy ensures that at least one account will profit regardless of market direction, creating an unfair advantage and distorting the true performance metrics.
EAs that scalp during the rollover night to take advantage of the price feed
Using Expert Advisors (EAs) that scalp during the rollover period to exploit price feeds is prohibited.
This practice can manipulate market conditions and take unfair advantage of temporary price discrepancies, undermining the integrity of our trading environment.
We aim to ensure fair and ethical trading practices for all participants.
Latency Arbitrage Across Platforms or Exchanges
Arbitrage trading, or exploiting price discrepancies or glitches within different markets of similar or identical assets, is prohibited.
This occurs when a trader takes advantage of price differences for the same asset on two different exchanges, buying or selling on one exchange to profit from the discrepancy.
Trading strategies that take advantage of system errors
Such as inaccuracies in price display or delays in updating, is prohibited.
This occurs when a trader spots a technical glitch on the trading platform that shows incorrect price quotes for an asset and places trades to profit from these inaccuracies before the error is corrected.
High-Frequency Trading (HFT)
where the majority of trades are executed within a few seconds or less, is prohibited.
This involves using sophisticated algorithms to execute trades within seconds or less, taking advantage of small price movements in the market.
Ultra-Fast Scalping
Ultra-fast scalping, similar to regular scalping, involves making a large number of small profits on price changes that occur within seconds or minutes.
This strategy is characterized by its extremely short holding periods and rapid execution.
Tick-Scalping Strategies
Tick-based trading strategies, which involve making trades based on every minor price movement or "tick" in the market, are prohibited.
This occurs when a trader engages in rapid-fire trading, entering and exiting positions within seconds based on minor fluctuations in price that occur with each tick of the market.
News Scalping EAs
News Scalping EAs, which are designed to exploit price fluctuations during major news releases or significant economic events by using rapid scalping techniques, are prohibited.
These EAs take advantage of the extreme short-term volatility that occurs during such events. This approach can be highly unpredictable and often results in significant slippage due to the thin liquidity available at these times.
Use of Emulators
The use of emulators in trading is prohibited. Emulators mimic the operations of another program or system, which can be problematic, especially when used with Expert Advisors (EAs).
They can replicate prohibited strategies or bypass system protections, undermining the integrity and security of the trading environment.
This practice goes against our commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent trading platform for all users.
Reverse Arbitrage Trading
Reverse arbitrage trading involves exploiting price inefficiencies between markets in a way that is opposite to traditional arbitrage.
In this strategy, a trader might sell an overvalued asset in one market while simultaneously buying it in another market where it is undervalued, aiming to profit from the price discrepancy as the markets correct.
Hedge Arbitrage Trading
Hedge arbitrage trading involves simultaneously taking opposing positions in correlated assets or markets to exploit price discrepancies and take advantage of price differentials on the same or different accounts.
For example, a trader might buy an asset in one market while shorting a similar asset in another market, aiming to profit from minor price differences.

Rules:
- How do I get stared as an independent trader?
To become a Maverick Trader, you must satisfactorily complete the following requirements:
• The Maverick Qualification Program: Our qualification program offers up to 5 live classes every week from the beginning Market Foundations class to the high-powered Advanced Options class. All of our instructors are seasoned traders and teach the Maverick Trading methodology. Our focus is in imparting to our traders proper capital allocation, risk management and position sizing required as a professional trader. Since we understand everyone has other committments, we record all classes and offer them for view on our website for viewing. We have over 300 videos of pre-recorded content for “on demand” viewing.
• Pass the Maverick verification program: Since you will be trading with our capital, we have a program to assure us of each trader’s understanding of the stock and options market in general. Each trader will need to pass a series of tests demonstrating understanding of position sizing, risk managmenet techniques, order entry, and profit targets. Prospective Traders in our system will have unlimited access to the tests and unlimited attempts to pass the tests.
• Proven Track Record: Each trader must demonstrate that he/she can implement the strategies learned in the Maverick Trading training program. Prospective traders will spend time on a demo trading platform that will be analyzed and monitored by the trader/coach assigned to them. Management will look for a minimum number of profitable trades, risk vs. reward ratios, capital allocation, minimal drawdowns, etc. Traders can be authorized to submit trades on other platforms/brokerages they are currently working on. - Is Maverick Trading hiring me?
You are not being hired in the traditional sense with benefits and a salary but as an independent contractor. Like all trading professionals, you will be provided with trading capital and your income will directly tied to your performance. When you complete the membership requirements required by Maverick Trading, you will be offered a position as a trader from our trading LLC. Once you are a trader with capital backing from the LLC, you will be permissioned to trade on behalf of the LLC in a sub-account. As a trader for the firm, you will have access to professional data feeds, professional commission rates and professional trading software. You will be compensated based on your individual performance as a trader for the LLC and you will receive a 1099 at the end of each year with your earnings from your trading activities. Taxes on these payouts will be the individual responsibility of each member. Refer to our Trader Advancement Tables for for the payout rates. - What will be my responsibilities be as a member/trader for Maverick Trading?
Before joining Maverick Trading as a member/trader, your primary responsibility will be to complete Maverick’s in-house training program. Upon the successful completion of Maverick’s training program, your primary responsibility will be to trade the firm’s capital within Maverick’s risk guidelines for maximum profit. As you gain experience and progress within Maverick, you may, from time to time, be called upon to conduct a class or discussion among other Maverick traders. - When can I withdraw a part or all of my earnings?
Monthly trading profits are calculated from each option period and a trader’s profits will be credited on the Saturday after options expiration. This date is between the 15th and 22nd of each month. Profit dispersements will be made on the 1st of the month following the prior trading period.. As an example, if a trader earned $10,000 in profits in the March options period and was on a 75% profit split, they would receive a disbursement of $7,500 on April 1st. A trader can retain any earnings within their trading account and apply for higher capital amounts. - Can I request additional buying power as a Maverick Trader?
Yes. This increase will be granted based on your trading performance, profits retained in their account and size of risk deposit. In our program, the trader, through performance, earns greater and greater exposure. As most traders know, the bigger the buying power, the bigger the potential profits. This extra potential is earned via “consistency” more than anything else. In the professional trading world, consistency is king. We are looking for consistency married with low draw-downs and/or small account swings. Some of our traders don’t experience a losing month in an entire year, with account swings that are nearly nonexistent. Level advancement will be made by additional education requirements and management approval. - I like everything I have read, but don't live near any of your offices. Is trading remotely for Maverick Trading possible?
Yes! Years ago, the answer to this question would have been a definite “no.” Today, due to incredible technological advancements in the professional trading field, we can monitor, assist, and teach a trader remotely, just as effectively as one on-site. While some traders do thrive in the energetic environment of a trading room, many do better from the comfort and solitude of their own homes. What’s more, our remote traders experience all that happens on our main trading floor through our trade setups in the weekly Trading Room and our real-time trade updates on our members area Trading blog. - I would love to trade with Maverick Trading, but I can't trade full-time at the moment. Can I become a part-time trader?
Yes. Part-time traders often grow into some of our best traders. First of all, their growth and development as professional traders happen in smaller, more digestible periods. Secondly, the lessons learned are steady and the part-time nature of their trading reduces the risk of being overloaded and overwhelmed with too much at one time. Some of our best full-time traders today began as part-timer traders first. - Do I need to complete Maverick's qualification program prior to trading firm capital or can I simply start trading with Maverick?
Since it is our money, we want to make sure we have traders who know what they are doing to minimize our risk.
• Without exception, all Maverick traders are required to complete Maverick’s qualification program.
• Maverick offers its traders leverage, coaching, and support not found in other proprietary trading firms and management has found that the full benefit of this infrastructure comes only after completing a comprehensive program.
• Maverick’s goal is to create a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship with its traders and has found the best way to accomplish this goal is to start its traders off with an excellent foundation. - Is there a cost associated with the qualification program?
Maverick Trading works with all manner of traders, from beginning to experienced. Based on your experience level when you join our program, our recruiters will place each trader in a qualification program customized by your recruiter. The costs of the qualification program are based on your trading level and experience and will be based upon your desire for individual mentoring from one of our experienced traders/trainers. Experienced trader’s who have traded on a professional level before (other trading firms, banks, hedge funds, etc.) with current trading records may receive a waiver of our qualification program. - Is Maverick Trading a brokerage firm?
No. Maverick Trading is a private equity trading firm which trains and allows a team of professional traders to manage and trade its own brokerage account.
• Maverick Trading’s traders are brought in as members and given trading authority to trade the firm’s account for the benefit of the firm.
• Maverick has partnered with some of the biggest firms in the business to provide our traders the absolute best in software, execution and superior pricing (commissions).
• Unlike most proprietary trading firms, Maverick does not add a “mark-up” to your trading commissions and we strictly profit from the profits our traders generate.
Because of this, we do not have volume requirements and actively discourage high frequency trading. This makes our objectives and motivations the same as our traders…generating profits in the market. - Do I receive a salary if Maverick Trading hires me as a trader?
Maverick Traders are paid on performance only. Compensation is based on each individual trader’s net profit and loss. We provide a carefully structured Trader Advancement Program that will increase the capital that you can trade as you demonstrate consistent profitability. There is no cap on the levels that can be achieved, so your potential revenue is virtually unlimited.

What is the Profit Target, and What is the Profit Share?
Evaluation and Advanced stage target according to our different trading models. At Lux Trading Firm, we offer three different accounts:
$50,000 – Evaluation and Advanced Acc stage – The target for this account is respectively $3,000 and $2,000.
$200,000 – Evaluation and Advanced Acc stage–The target for this account is respectively $12,000 and $8,000.$1MM Special Account – 1 Evaluation stage only – The target for this account $150,000
Once a trader successfully completes the Evaluation stage, he will receive a refund of 50% of the paid fees. He will receive another 50% once he passes the advanced stage. The 1 stage evaluation accounts are completely excluded from this refund deal.
Once you have reached the Professional Account stage, and up, the profit targets are 10% to grow to the next stage (there are no time limits to reach any of our profit targets)
We shall split the profits in a ratio of 75% to the trader and 25% to the Lux Trading Firm.
In the Professional and above stages, the trader can request a withdrawal only once per month. The transactions will be processed within 3-5 business days.
What is my maximum loss limit?
At lux Trading Firm, we believe that all traders should get a fair chance to enable them to trade and remain within their risk limit. As many of you may know, Institutional traders are risk-averse and generally make excellent trading decisions that lead to profitability and consistency. The MAXIMUM RELATIVE DRAWDOWN is 6% on our Evaluation and Advanced stages in the Lux Career Plan Funded Trading Program for traders using Lux’s own platforms – “The Lux Trader” or “MetaTrader 5”.
What does relative drawdown mean?
The Maximum allowed Relative Draw Down is the highest realized account balance minus 6% and is compared to equity and balance.
The losses can never exceed the value of the Maximum Relative Drawdown specified at the start of the Evaluation.
For example, for the $100K Evaluation and Advanced Account stage on TLT, the max relative Drawdown is $6,000. If the starting account balance was $100,000, and at a later time, the trader made a profit of $2,000, bringing the max account balance to $102,000. Then the stop-out level based on the Relative Drawdown would be $102,000 – $6,120 = $95,880.
The MAXIMUM HYBRID DRAWDOWN is 6% on our Professional and Expert stages in the Lux Career Plan Funded Trading Program.
Our 6% hybrid drawdown level works like a combination of a fixed and relative drawdown.
After a trader withdraws their profits on the professional live trading stages, the account balance and maximum high are reset to the initial balance (or scaled up). This also resets the maximum drawdown level to 6% of the starting balance. So, every month you make a profit and withdraw; you also start with a new drawdown.
We implemented relative drawdown to create consistency in the risk our trades take and to ensure the safekeeping of profits already earned.
We don’t want traders to use gained profits to increase the amount of risk they can take. It really doesn’t make sense in our environment where the account size is scaled up after accumulating 10% profit anyway.
Your account will be immediately disabled when you hit your max loss allowed.
Should this happen, you can apply for a new account by paying a reset fee (fees listed at the bottom of this page), dependent on your account size, but not related to your current stage. You will go back to 2 stages in the program, that is, if you were on stage 4 you will start again on stage 2.
From stage 2 onward in career plans, and beginning at stage 1 in Elite plans, you will be assigned a personal risk manager that will help you with anything that is necessary to reach your goal/target. Your risk manager is there to advise, support, and guide you in any way that is beneficial to both of us. Therefore, you are required to follow his advice diligently. In the case of serious negligence, or poor risk management, your account might be closed at our discretion, and you will be expelled from the program.
Trading Strategy and Stop-Loss (SL) Settings
To ensure a fair and consistent trading environment, we have specific rules for Stop-Loss (SL) settings tailored for different types of traders: scalpers, day traders, and swing traders. These rules align with industry standards observed by investors, banks, hedge funds, and asset management trading departments.Trader Classification
Scalpers: Engage in very short-term trades, often holding positions for only a few minutes to a few hours. Their targets are less than 15 pips on Forex, or equivalent.
Day Traders: Open and close positions within the same trading day without holding any overnight positions.Their targets are 15-60 pips on Forex, or equivalent.
Swing Traders: Hold positions for several days to weeks, aiming to profit from expected short- to medium-term price movements.Their targets are more than 60 pips on Forex, or equivalent; and their stop loss is usually larger than the true average range of one day in a given symbol.
Stop-Loss (SL) Settings
Scalpers: Can use minimum SL settings according to the specific rules outlined.
Day Traders: Must use SL settings at least 3 times larger than the minimum SL settings outlined.
Swing Traders: Must use SL settings at least 10 times larger than the minimum SL settings outlined.
Assessment of SL Settings
We evaluate SL settings based on the trader’s classification and respective targets.
Traders must ensure their SL settings are reasonable and in line with their trading strategy. Unusually small SL settings for the trader’s classification will be reviewed.
General Guidelines
Mandatory SL Order: Every trader must place a Stop-Loss order before entering the market. The sum of all Stop-Loss orders must be within the 6% DrawDown limit and cannot exceed the maximum allowed risk capital. For example, on a $1MM account, the total value of all active Stop-Losses cannot be larger than 5% of the total available risk at trade opening time.
Profit Exclusion: Any profits or active trading days made by such trades will not count towards the account growth profit target.
Minimum SL Distance: A minimum stop-loss of at least 0.0005 pips on forex pairs (or an equivalent on other asset classes) is required. The minimum opening stop-loss distances for every symbol can be found here: Minimum Stop Loss.pdf.
Stock SL Settings: For stocks in the USD30, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100, the minimum Stop-Loss should be at least 0.3% of the share price, and no less than 0.5% for other stocks.
News Release Exception: During news releases, the minimum required Stop-Loss distance must be increased by 100%.
Manual Exit and SL Adjustment
Manual Exit: Traders can exit their trades manually with a loss smaller than the minimum required Stop-Loss. Traders can also move their Stop-Loss to break even or to profit once the trade has moved favorably.
Real Market Conditions: It’s important to note that during high volatility or unexpected events, trades might close at the next available price, which can differ significantly from the intended Stop-Loss price.
Important Rules
30-Second Rule: Traders are not allowed to adjust their Stop-Loss within 30 seconds of placing a trade. Violations will result in the trade being disqualified.
News Event Rule: No Stop-Loss adjustments are allowed within 30 seconds before or after a news event to prevent increasing risk of market volatility.
Recommendations
Trade Clasification: We recommend every trader decides before their trade, if it will be a scalp, day trade, or a swing trade and set their SL and Take Profit accordingly.
These rules are designed to protect investors’ funds and ensure a disciplined approach to trading, while still allowing traders the flexibility to manage their trades responsibly. What are the time limits and trading days criteria?
At Lux trading firm, we do not believe that a trader should really be restricted to time, as this can severely hamper the chances of profitable traders. So let us put your mind at rest by letting you know there are no maximum time limits for the Evaluation, Advanced or Professional account stages to reach any of the profit targets to continue to the next stage. The only major stipulation that we do have is a minimum of active trading days on the first stage of our Lux Career Trading Plan Program.
Being a trader is not about being a one-hit-wonder. It’s about finding a suitable strategy that works with consistency and one that deems profitable to you.
Lux Trading Firm Traders need to have traded a minimum of 29 Trading Days on the Evaluation Account, Further stages (2 and up) do not require a minimum amount of trading days.
However, an exception applies to swing traders. If a trader keeps a trade open for a longer period with an average of at least two days, then a minimum of 15 trading days is required for Evaluation Account stage. (Our definition of a swing trader is a trader who does not take more than one trade at a time and takes a new trade after closing his last position. Furthermore, this swing trader does not take more than two trades per week, and his trades are always longer than 48 hours on average)
Lux Trading Firm defines a trading day as the day the funded trader opens a new trade on a new day. For example, if the funded trader opens GBP-USD trade on Tuesday and closes the same trade on Wednesday, this counts as 1 trading day. The active trading day that counts is the day GBP-USD has opened and not the full duration of the trade.
Active trading days are Monday until Friday, weekends and holidays excluded.
The Evaluation Account stage’s minimum is to track the trader over a period of 29 active days. The minimum active trading days are there to keep the trader on the same track to not rush to the next profit targets. We will not accept significant differences in risk size, or trading style to fulfill the active trades or trading days. If we do see a big difference to only fulfill these active trades or trading days, we will not count these days as active, and then you will still need to fulfill these days before continuing to the next stage.
Here are 2 examples of traders who have reached their profit target with high risk in a short period. They then change their trading style, lot size, and risk management to complete the remaining active trading days (these days will not be counted as active trading days). Therefore, we advise reducing your lot size and risk management from the beginning since you have no time limit to reach your profit target

Lux Trading Firm is more than willing to support our traders in their growth, hence the reason we developed The Lux Career Trading Plan.Once you have completed your evaluation account, Lux Trading Firm will fund the advanced account with the same amount as the evaluation account size. All professional 25k, 50k, 100k, or 200k Account stages, plus the $1MM special account can grow up to the Fund Manager $10Mill stage:
Every time the funded trader generates a trading profit equivalent to 10%, Lux Trading Firm will raise the account size (25k, 50k, 100k, 200k, 500k, 1 million, 2,5 million, and finally, to $10 million.
The Profit Payment Process:
Once a trader successfully completes the Evaluation account, he can withdraw a refund of 50% of paid fees, After completing the Advanced account, he can withdraw the other 50%.
Traders can only take their 75% profit split of the professional and expert account stages if there is a net profit.
All professional and expert trading accounts can receive their profits payments within the first week of the new month.
What is the withdrawal process?
1) Fill in the form on the profit-split page in your trader dashboard at the end of the month requesting the withdrawal and shall process your request within 3-5 business days.
2) Fill in all correct details on the form, and the exact funds of your profit split of the month are on the top of the form.
3) The withdrawal request will not influence the 10% profit target to grow in The Lux Career Trading Plan.
4) Once you have made your withdrawal, it’s back to your trading account, and begins to aim for your next target on The Lux Career Trading Plan.
The Fee Structure
Lux Trading Firm asks for an enrollment fee. The fee covers the use of all our unique applications, such as MT5, Trading View Libraries for TLT, Trader dashboard with all your metrics, and Account analysis by a professional risk management desk.
Every new trader who signs up after 10-10-2021 that passes the Evaluation (Demo) Account stage will receive a 50% refund of their enrollment fee (excluding any reset fees or for elite packages). The other 50% will be paid out after completing the Advanced stage. 1 stage evaluation accounts (like the Elite plan and the special $1MM account) are excluded from this offer.
Even though we have no other cost than the enrollment fee, if you pass the Max Draw-down Limit, you’ll need to reset your trading account to continue being eligible for funding. The reset prices are listed below, your account will be reset to its starting balance regardless of your account balance at the time of the breach.
The Enrollment Fee Refund Policy

Allowed Trading Strategies, and what not to do
Evaluation, Advanced, and the Professional Accounts have the leverage of 1:30 on FX, Indices, Energies, and Metals; and 1:5 on Equity CFDs and Cryptos. Each trader is allowed to have multiple accounts under the condition they do not take the same trades between the accounts. Copy trading between accounts is strictly prohibited. (For example: One account can be scalping forex, other one swing trading. Or one could trade USD/EUR, and the other GBP/JPY. Etc.)Self-developed EAs, news trading, and holding trades over the weekend are allowed.
Risk Consistency
We require that there is consistency in risk size per trade (%) during the entire stage. You can choose your own amount of risk per trade in the evaluation. You must use the same trading style, and your risk must be the same percentage of your total available risk capital at that moment, per trade, in the complete evaluation stage. If you have multiple positions open at the same time, the total concurrent risk must be the same.
The formula to calculate your risk is:
% risk per trade = ($ risk per trade / total available risk capital at that moment) * 100
Total available risk capital = current balance – drawdown limit
Drawdown limit = highest achieved balance – 6%How to keep your concurrent risk consistent:
The first thing you need to do is decide what % of your Remaining Risk Capital (RRC) you’re willing to risk. In the evaluation stage you can decide this, in later stages your risk manager will set a risk limit for you.
Let’s risk 5% of RRC for example.
If you only open 1 trade:
In case you only want to have one trade open at the time it’s simple – you should risk the same percentage of your remaining risk capital on every trade. In this example, you would enter a trade with 5% risk.
Note: We allow for a small variation of up to 20% (meaning you can risk between 5-6% of your RRC, for example). If you have more than 1 trade open at the same time:
If you want to open multiple trades at the same time, you have a couple of options:A) If you don’t have any open trades, and you want to open multiple trades (we’ll open 3 trades in this example) what you should do is:
1. Decide on your risk limit. (In this example, we decided we will risk 5% of RRC)
2. Decide how many trades you want to open
3. Divide your risk between the trades
For example: Trade1 = 1%; Trade2 = 2%; Trade3 = 2% ; Total = 5% risk
4. Enter your trades.B) If you already have some trades open, and you want to add another trade, you have two options:
1. Move the stop-loss of one (or more) of your open trades to break-even (this will nullify the risk of that position), and only then open another position.
Note: The newly opened position should risk as much as the position(s) you moved to break-even.
2. Close one (or more) of your open trades (this will nullify the risk of that position), and only then open another position.
Note: The newly opened position should risk as much as the position(s) you closed. The easiest way to find out how much remaining risk capital you have is to check your Trader Dashboard. You’ll find it on the top, labeled ‘Available Risk’.
For the $1MM special account, the risk per trade is limited to 5% of the total available risk at the moment of opening the trade.
In case of too large an inconsistency in risk, you will have to redo the stage partially or entirely.
We allow EAs that are created by the trader (trader’s intellectual property). EAs that are developed by a third party, are prohibited since this does not show the individual trading skills of the trader. If this EA is no longer available to the trader/public, for whatever reason, the trader will be unable to update, upgrade or make changes to it for the better. One can use a third-party EA as a tool to support your strategy without a trade execution option. Always make sure the EA places a stop with the order; together with the order, not afterward (modify order) as our risk management will most likely discard the trade! The use of “Magic Keys” EA is prohibited as it is incompatible with our dashboard and analysis application.
Copy trading
Lux Trading Firm prohibits duplicating trades and orders by using a copy trading service offered, no matter the provider. No trades are allowed to be copied into a Lux Trading account, no matter the provider. No signals are allowed to be used, no matter the provider. No copying trades or signals from any external programs is allowed. Using an EA to get trades from outside programs is not allowed.
Lux Trading Firm allows traders with a self-developed strategy to use the Lux trading platform as the Master account and copy the trades to other (Slave) accounts that belong to the trader or his/her company. It is prohibited to copy your trades to any other than your own trading account(s). Our algorithms will recognize when trades are duplicated to different trading accounts with us and will alert management. All the parties involved will be expelled from the program. and no refund or reset will be possible.
Trading the accounts of friends, family, or any other relationship managed by you at Lux, using the same strategy is prohibited. All the parties involved will be expelled from the program and no refund or reset will be possible.
Arbitrage trading is not allowed under any circumstance. Abusing this rule will result in disqualification, without the right to a reset, or refund. If you notice any latency in quotes, you are required to inform Lux asap.
Using short-duration and/or small volume trades, with the obvious reason to fill up remaining trading days, is considered cheating. Your account will be disabled if you engage in such practices.
In the evaluation demo account, you are only allowed to trade a system or strategy, either traded manually or automated, which will also work on real money live accounts, and is accepted by our A-book broker and their liquidity providers. Examples of systems that are not allowed include, but are not limited to:
Any system that is based on the guaranteed stops of demo accounts.
Any system based on luck, or with its origins in gambling, like Martingale, going long and short just before a mayor news update, going “All-In”.
Any system using giant stops, which, when hit, will make it realistically impossible to come back from this loss. And yes, that is “when hit”, not “if hit”.
Any system that was originally devised to work without the placement of a Stop Loss, then adapted to our requirements to use Stop Loss by using full or near-full max risk.
Any system based on “negative outcome” of the original trade, like averaging down, or Martingale.
Grid systems, although not “bad” per se, they are incompatible with our risk consistency rules.
Any system with a risk management that would not be accepted by your future Lux risk desk and risk manager, which use internationally accepted risk management standards.
High-Frequency Trading (generating more than 2,500 server messages per 24 hours), or the use of full automatic EAs, robots, or automated systems in general, that generate excessive trades, at either Lux’s or the broker’s discretion, is forbidden, and will result in the termination of your account.
Consistent Trading Requirement: To qualify for evaluation, traders must demonstrate consistent trading over a period of 29 active trading days. This includes managing both good and bad trading periods with consistent risk. The goal is to ensure traders are employing a reliable trading strategy rather than relying on a few lucky trades.
Not accepting Lucky Trades: Traders who attempt to qualify through a couple of lucky trades, with minimal trading activity otherwise, will not pass evaluation. Any trades that consitute to more than 10% of the profit target will not be accepted. For example, making $10,000 with only $1,000 risk in a few trades does not constitute a valid trading strategy.

Once you are funded, you can withdraw 80% of your profits after meeting the profit target of each step. You don’t have to wait to accumulate the full profit target, you can also withdraw any amount over $100. For the first withdrawal only, your profits must be sufficient to cover both the minimum withdrawal amount and the one-time setup fee. This means you need at least $239 in profits ($100 + $139 setup fee) to make your first withdrawal. For subsequent withdrawals, the minimum amount you can withdraw will always be $100, with no additional setup fee deductions.
The withdrawals have a cost of $10 per payment/ withdrawal, however the proprietary trading firms will waive this charge in its entirety for withdrawals above $500.Withdrawals are processed through Rise, a third-party contract- and payment provider service.
Automated Trading Software (EAs) – Should You Trade With Robots?
Trading is among the industries that have been disrupted the most by technological development. The progress for the last twenty years is staggering. It ranges from the introduction of electronic communication networks (ECNs), through smart order routing, to automated trading software. Thanks to trading robots, today, buying and selling assets is entirely automated, much more affordable, and, most importantly – flexible. Does this mean we have solved financial markets once and for all? The short answer is no – automated trading isn’t flawless. Let’s expand on this and find out is trading with robots a good idea?

You may also not transfer or combine your performance, Service parameters, data or any other information between the products.
1.3. Access to the Client Section and Trading Platform is protected by login data, which the Customer may not make available or share with any third party. 1.5. The Customer may at any time request the cancellation of the Client Section by sending an e-mail to hello@KortanaFX.com. Sending a request for the cancellation of the Client Section is considered as a request for termination of the contract by the Customer, with the Customer being no longer entitled to use the Services, including the Client Section and Trading Platform. The Provider will immediately confirm the receipt of the request to the Customer by email, whereby the contractual relationship between the Customer and the Provider will be terminated. In such a case, the Customer is not entitled to any refund of the fees already paid or costs otherwise incurred.2. KORTANA TRADING CHALLENGE AND Simulated Funded Account

Rules:
How is drawdown calculated?
Daily Drawdown: Relative Drawdown based on the Balance/Equity at the start of the day (platform time).Do you allow News Trading?
Currently, we allow news trading.
Do you allow trading over the weekend?
Yes, our program allows for weekend and overnight holding of trades. Can I start again if I violate any rules?
This can be assessed on a case-by-case basis. If you account has been suspended, you will receive a member discount for future Evaluations.
If you breach the consistency rules, you will not lose your Funded Account – we would only remove the specific trades from the profit/restart the account. Is hedging allowed?
Yes, hedging is allowed, however, using multiple accounts to hedge entries between them will be considered as a violation of rules. This includes hedging between clients.
Hedging your own account to protect a position for example, is completely allowed. Hedging two different accounts/individuals, taking opposite positions in each to bypass the rules, is not allowed.Do you have a consistency rule?
Yes, we work with consistency-based rules. These rules ensure that we are working with legitimate traders who apply a consistent risk management and strategy to their accounts. As an institution, we must apply this rule to filter the most consistent traders and avoid people who are purely gambling. Are there any restrictions to sharing credentials?
Yes, each trader is responsible for his/her own account credentials – sharing the details with third parties is outside of out control and is not permitted. Sharing your funded account credentials may lead to having the account suspended.
For the full list of rules, please refer to the Schedule of Assessment.Minimum trading days
In the funded account, you need to have 10 trading days (first withdrawal) or 5 trading days (subsequent withdrawals). Requesting a payout without meeting this means it will be declined and you will be able to request it again in a few days time. What if I breach the consistency rules?
You will not lose your account. Our risk team will only remove the profits from the amount being withdrawn and if these are greater than your PnL, your account will be reset to its original balance to give you a second chance. What is your consistency rule?
Our consistency rule is only enforced in the funded stage and it is assessed at the time of withdrawal:1. 33% consistency rule: a single trade should not represent more than 33% of the profit being requested. This is to avoid traders going “all in” before news or gambling, rather than applying sound risk management. This also assists us in managing risk as a company and building a more sustainable risk modelling long term.
2. This is also only being enforced in the funded stage. We basically work with volume bands (also for risk management purposes and consistency). Say, if a trader trades with lot sizes of 2 and 4 lots on gold for the month, let’s assume a 3 lot average size per trade and then one day before the payroll (or another situation) he places a single trade with 10 lots, this would be voided from the results as it represents more than 200% of the average volume for the period. The same applies if it is more than 75% below the average lot size.
Example (values for illustration purposes only):
Average lot size: 3 lots per trade
Upper limit: 6 lots per trade
Lower limit: 0.75 lots per trade
Average= total lots traded divided by total number of trades
Upper range= average x2
Lower range= average x0.25Any trades within that range are perfectly fine. Note trades are aggregated when placed within 60-second window into one position for both profit and volume consistency.
We’ve designed the rules to create a balance between offering a very competitive challenge but also making sure the Prop is sustainable and will remain in the market long term. If you have trades outside of the consistency range, you would not lose your account – only those specific trades would be removed and the remaining amount processed to you.
Some people don’t quite agree with it and others actually said they became better traders by having these rules as it forces them to stick to their trading plan rather than making impulsive decisions.
Is account management allowed?
Third party account management is not allowed – each trades must trade his/her own accounts.Duplicated IPs
Duplicated IPs between different users in the funded account is a breach of our rules.Change of IPs
You do not need to notify us about IP changes. We understand you may use mobile, VPS and travel from time to time. Having different IPs is not an issue. Can I login to different accounts (from different owners) using the same device?
Using the same mobile phone/computer to access accounts from different people is seen as a major red flag, given each person should be trading his/her own account. Please ensure you are not sharing your funded credentials with anyone.
Do you allow EA’s and indicators?
Yes, all types of EAs are allowed at Infinity Forex Funds. Please ensure you are using your own EAs instead of copying other’s trades.
- Can I use HFT in the funded account?
HFT bots do not work nor are allowed in the funded stage.
- Is copy trading allowed?
Yes, only between your personal accounts. We use cutting edge technology for risk management and if you have a large proportion of trades deemed as copy, this is an infringement of our rules.

This calculation must include any floating losses, swaps and commission rates. This limit will be reset at midnight as per the server time. How is the lot size consistency rule calculated?
To illustrate how the Lot Size Consistency Rule works using a $100,000 trading account, let's go through the steps to calculate the allowable range of trade sizes (lot sizes) based on your average trade size. How is the profit consistency rule calculated?
To provide a clear example of how the 35% Day Profit Consistency Rule would work in the context of a $100,000 trading account, let's simulate a scenario where your account achieves different levels of profit over a 30-day trading period, and see how this rule applies upon a payout withdrawal request. Are there any monthly fees?

However, due to the high risks associated with this approach, tick trading is not permitted.

Please notice that once you create a Funded account, you will be required to sign the Independent Contractor Agreement and fill out the Payment Method form, where you will provide your preferred payment method to process your future requests.

We allow for three evaluations to be taken at once with a total funding amount of up to $1,000,000.Why don't you offer instant funding?
We believe in giving our traders the fairest deal possible. Ultimately no one would invest in anything if they were not able to know what the outcome may be, and many prop firms that offer instant funding only do so to take your evaluation fee and let you trade on a demo. M Solutions only wants to put in money in proven and trusted traders that we work with and see pass their evaluation. This is what will build our prop trading fund over the long term instead of trying to earn some fast dollars on an instant demo account.Do I have a time limit to place a trade before my account becomes inactive?
Yes. If no trade is placed on your trading account within 25 days, your account will be disabled. How does your consistency rule work?
We apply a profit consistency rule to manage risk on your funded account. No single trade can account for 50% or more of your total Required Return or total Target Return. For example, if a trader has a total profit of $5,000 he cannot have a single trade with a profit of more than $2,500 which is more than 50% of his total profit.Note this rule is not a hard breach, and will only result in any inconsistent trades being removed from account.
Does my account have to be in my name?
Yes, as we are on the lookout for individual traders and often make payouts to a bank account for our live traders. As such accounts must be created in your own name.Do I pay tax on my trade earnings?
We classify our live traders as independent contractors. As such you invoice M Solutions for your earnings and must report this yourself to your relevant tax authority. How do you define News Trading?
For Non-HFT traders, trading activity is restricted within a timeframe of 3 minutes before and 3 minutes after the news event.
Conversely, HFT traders have a wider window of 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after the news. During these periods, no trades can be initiated or closed.
However, traders are allowed to hold existing positions through the news event.
Yet, it is important to note that stop loss (SL) or take profit (TP) levels should not be triggered during this timeframe. Can I merge my accounts with you?

Rules:
Hit Profit Target
To pass your Challenge and proceed to the next phase, your Account Balance must reach the requested Profit Target and you must be flat on positions.Daily Drawdown
The Daily Drawdown indicates the maximum amount you can lose throughout a single day. We update your new Daily Drawdown limit for you on your Dashboard every day based on your Balance at 16:00CT when the markets close.Maximum Drawdown
The Maximum Drawdown rule indicates the maximum amount you can lose across the lifetime of your account. If your equity drops below the Max Drawdown limit, your account will automatically be closed. In this program, the Maximum Drawdown is static for both your Challenge and Earning Phase.Complete 5 Minimum Trading Days
We ask you to trade for a required number of trading days to make sure you can be consistent in your risk management and trading. For an account to be registered as passed, you must place a trade for a minimum of 5 unique trading days.Holding an overnight position will not be considered a new trading day.
Inactivity Rule
As we work with reputable brokers for opening our trader’s demo accounts, if you do not place a trade for 21 consecutive days, our partner broker will consider your account inactive and proceed with closing it, and you will not be eligible for a new account or refund of the purchase. One Active Earning Account Per Trader
Each customer is limited to only one active earning account. If you have an active Earning account and happen to pass another Challenge, we will queue your upgrade, and you can request it to be fulfilled after your existing Earning Account is terminated.News Trading
Trading is prohibited 2 minutes before and after high-impact news events. However, pending orders set before the news and filled during news are allowed. Also, any orders opened before news can be closed during news release.
Achieving the Profit Target in One Trade
Achieving the profit target through a single trade is strictly prohibited. We ask to see consistent trading from our partner traders who adhere to the correct Risk Management practices and aren’t seeking to reach the target with one big, risky trade.Gambling and Inconsistent Trading
In simple terms, we ask that you stay consistent in your strategy and adhere to Standard Market Risk Management, avoiding substantial deviations in position sizes and the number of positions relative to your usual trading patterns. We ask our partner traders to maintain consistent lot sizes in their trades to align which demonstrates disciplined and strategic trading practice.
An example of breaching this rule would be if you complete your 5 minimum trading days by entering 10 lot trades for the first 2 days and then for the rest 3 required trading days you place 0.1 lot trades.
Exploitation of System Errors
Trading strategies that exploit system errors or trade on external/slow data feeds are prohibited. Furthermore, engaging in activities attempting to manipulate the market or to apply any type of Arbitrage trading will lead to the termination of your account. Also, although we allow E.A.’s that are created by you, using software or EAs that aim to manipulate or misuse the system will lead to the termination of your account.
Gap Trading
Trades being executed in anticipation of major global news, macroeconomic events, or corporate earnings reports specifically when such events are likely to impact the prices of financial instruments in the relevant market, may lead to a Gap in the pricing feed of the broker. Trades opened less than 2 hours before the closing of a financial market with the target of exploiting expected price gaps upon market reopening will be considered a malicious practice and will lead to termination of your account with no compensation.
- Copy-Trading
(a) It is forbidden for traders to copy trades manually or automatically between their accounts.(a) You are allowed to copy trades from an external account that is yours. However, it is prohibited to copy trades from other traders or sources that are not your own, as this increases the chances of breaching the above rule (a).
